Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior 2D Animator with a unique skill set to join our creative team. This role is perfect for an individual who is experienced in both 2D and 3D animation and possesses exceptional leadership skills. The ideal candidate will not only excel in anime-style animation but also have a keen eye for realistic and dynamic character posing, akin to popular titles like Valorant, Genshin Impact, and the iconic Neon Genesis Evangelion. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to explore the synergy between AI art and animation.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our 3D animators to integrate 2D elements seamlessly into 3D animations.
- Lead and guide the animation team, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Create stunning, realistic character animations in the style of games like Valorant, Genshin Impact, and the unforgettable Neon Genesis Evangelion.
- Experiment with AI art and technology to enhance the creative process. (To be explicit, this role will not encroach on copyrights or artist creations; rather, it will rely on AI tools to improve our workflow efficiency.)
- Collaborate with other departments to brainstorm and implement innovative animation techniques.
- Mentor and train junior animators to foster their growth.
- Proficiency in Sync Sketch software is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a 2D animator, with a strong portfolio of anime-style animations.
- Proven expertise in integrating 2D animations into 3D environments.
- Proficiency in realistic character posing and animation.
- Familiarity with AI art and AI-driven animation tools. (To be explicit, this role will not encroach on copyrights or artist creations; rather, it will rely on AI tools to improve our workflow efficiency.)
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of animation software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Toon Boom, Blender, Maya).
- A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest animation trends and technologies.
