At Plan A, we build games - but more importantly, we build better ways of making them.
As a remote-first co-development partner behind titles like Battlefield 2042, Dragon’s Dogma 2, and MS Flight Simulator, we help studios ship standout titles while keeping production pipelines lean, humane, and scalable.
We’re currently strengthening how our production team works across continents, disciplines, and personalities. This is a rebuild and growth phase: unifying processes, improving visibility, and tightening collaboration across our European and North American teams. This is where you come in.
We’re looking for a Senior Producer & Cross-Department Liaison to step into a high-impact role covering maternity leave, with a strong chance to extend if it’s a great match. You’ll lead AAA production, help translate business and creative needs into actionable plans, and contribute directly to shaping how the studio operates.
If you’re fluent in production pipelines, bring clarity to ambiguity, and believe great outcomes come from great collaboration, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Production Leadership (Co-Dev & Internal Projects)
- Lead full-cycle delivery across content, engineering, and game development projects - from 2D/3D art and animation to VFX, porting, feature development, and emerging full-game initiatives.
- Build and maintain clear schedules, budgets, milestones, and scope across multiple titles.
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for partners: communicating priorities, risks, and expectations with clarity.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Art, Tech, QA, and Ops to maintain efficient and realistic workflows.
- Identify risks early, escalate appropriately, and propose solutions that keep delivery safe - without crunch.
- Create clear production documentation, briefs, and breakdowns.
- Mentor producers and coordinators where needed.
- Bring a people-first approach to production, designing processes with the team, not in isolation.
- Use your experience to balance speed, quality, scope, and partner needs.
Cross-Department Liaison
- Ensure smooth coordination between production, marketing, sales, operations, finance, and leadership.
- Turn business development outcomes (partner discussions, leads, event follow-ups) into actionable production tasks.
- Translate business needs into well-structured epics, timelines, and priorities.
- Help prepare team showcases, decks, and communication materials for partners and internal initiatives.
- Support both short high-intensity cycles and steady long-term deliveries.
- Identify blockers across departments and help everyone stay aligned on priorities and dependencies.
- Build trust across remote, cross-cultural teams and help unify communication patterns between EU and US producers.
Studio-Wide Visibility & Knowledge Management
- Contribute to the ongoing rebuild of our YouTrack + Confluence ecosystem.
- Maintain clear, consistent reporting on project health, risks, and KPIs for leadership.
- Help develop and refine shared production practices across EU and US teams.
- Ensure all relevant disciplines are consulted before rolling out new processes or tools.
- Model strong documentation habits to support our remote-first environment.
What We're Looking For (Must-Haves)
- 5+ years in game production as Producer, PM, Art Manager, or similar.
- Experience working with fully remote or distributed teams.
- Proven ability to bring clarity, structure, and visibility to evolving or ambiguous environments.
- Experience delivering cross-discipline game projects (art, animation, VFX, engineering, or a mix).
- Strong understanding of how art and technical pipelines function (no tool operation needed).
- High proficiency in YouTrack and Confluence (or alternatives), including workflow structuring and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management - including candid, constructive conversations.
- People-first mindset: ability to build trust quickly in remote settings.
- Fluent English.
- Availability during European working hours.
Bonus Points
- Experience in both internal game development and co-dev/service projects.
- Experience succeeding in both structured (AAA-like) and less formal (indie/startup-like) environments.
- Familiarity with DCCs and game engines (Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Substance, Unity, Unreal).
- Agile/Scrum certifications.
- Background in mentoring, community-building, or supporting early-career developers.
- Czech or Slovak language.
What You’ll Get
- The chance to work on globally recognized game titles with top-tier developers.
- A remote-first environment built on trust, clarity, and autonomy.
- Monthly rate: EUR 4,000 – 5,000*
- A warm, values-driven team that believes in creativity, accountability, and doing things the right way.
- Access to workshops, courses, and growth opportunities.
- A maternity cover with genuine potential to extend based on mutual fit.
* The base pay offered to the successful candidate may differ depending on their geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We strive to offer competitive compensation that is reflective of the individual’s qualifications and market conditions.
