About the job
We are looking for a Senior/Lead 3D Artist with a strong focus on hard surface modelling and 2D texturing.
You will be working alongside the studio founder in a small team on a new and exciting project which is yet to be announced.
This is a remote work contract position, initially for a 3-6 month period with a possibility of extending if everything lines up.
Please note this opening is not suitable to entry level applicants.
Your key responsibilities:
- Create highly optimized 3D models according to specifications
- Create high fidelity 2D textures in a vector style (think of sticker packs)
- Communicate efficiently with myself and other team members
Who we’re looking for:
- A self driven and motivated individual who is excited about bringing a new IP to market
- Strong portfolio showcasing high quality 3D work
- Strong skills in 3D software packages (Blender, Maya, etc.)
- Strong artistic and technical skills for 2D texture creation (Procreate, Photoshop, etc.)
- Strong understanding of videogame asset production pipelines
- Desire to learn new skills and tools
