Your role:
As a 2D Artist (f/m/d) at Chimera Entertainment, you will create high-quality, visually appealing games within an experienced, international and flexible team of about 70 people.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Create and develop visual concepts,artistic visions and guide lines on your own and with the direction of your Leads and Art Directors
- Create outstanding concept arts , mood paintings, character designs, environment designs , prop designs and ready-to-integrate game assets
- Be responsible for containing a consistent art style and maintain the high visual quality in our games
- Create artworks on different styles and be open to break your comfort zone when needed
- Report to the Head of Art and Art Director on a regular basis
- Support your colleagues with your superpowers when needed
- Communicate and develop solutions with Art, Production, Design, and Tech departments
Who are we looking for:
- You have proven your ability to create high quality sketches, concept drawings, characters and environment concepts - ideally with at least 3 years of professional experience
- You are well versed in Adobe Photoshop and other digital content creation software
- You have a strong sense for anatomy, colors, (graphic) design, lighting & composition and enjoy letting off steam in a wide variety of different stylistic approaches
- You have basic knowledge on 3D production or willing to learn tools like Blender for illustration purposes
- You are familiar with efficient workflows and development processes in the games industry
- You know how to keep detailed documentation of your work
- You love to work in a team and understand the lingo of the other departments
- English is a language you can speak in your sleep
- Of course, you love playing (mobile) games
