WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
A freelance Concept Artist - Characters (Stylized) with proven experience in creating concept art for stylized characters (from silhouette to turnaround), considering both visual aesthetics and functionality and digital illustration software. The candidate must also possess competence in VFX, capable of understanding and integrating visual effects into character designs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create concept art for stylized characters (from silhouette to turnaround)
- Collaborate closely with the character modeling and animation teams
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from the art and design teams
- Contribute to the development of character design guidelines
- Incorporate VFX elements into character concepts where needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in the game industry (MUST)
- Portfolio showcasing concept art for stylized characters + vfx always for the characters (MUST)
- Proven experience as a Concept Artist with a focus on character design
- Proficient in digital illustration software (e.g., Photoshop, Procreate, Illustrator)
- Strong understanding of anatomy, form, and stylized character design
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
IMPORTANT INFO
- After an initial selection of resumes (and portfolios with examples of the VFX for the characters!), there will be two steps: an art test and an interview
- We operate on Discord
- We work in the GMT+1 (CET) timezone, but we accept collaborators from any timezone, provided they are willing to synchronize with us
- We have regular team meetings scheduled; alternatively, you choose your working hours
