For our new sandbox building game, HavenCraft, we are looking for an experienced software engineer.
In a small indie team, you can experience a wide variety of coding tasks in all areas related to game dev.

For our game, we are especially valuing skills in:
  • Multiplayer Programming
  • NPC Behaviours & Pathfinding
  • Performance Optimization
  • Shaders & Graphics Programming
  • General Unity Programming
Information on our software workflows:
  • We value a healthy amount of codebase cleanliness.
  • The entire game is built in a unified modular architecture with rules for when modules should be cleaned up.
  • We have a bunch of system tests that take 24 minutes to run on our build pipeline.
  • We use the C# nullable safeguards everywhere.
  • The code is filled with many asserts that run in production. Violations get automatically reported with a stacktrace. We try to find bugs as early as possible.
  • We don’t use MonoBehaviours much. Most of our code is plain C#.
  • We’ll pay for the IDE you prefer to work with.
