This role requires an experienced gameplay programmer. The work will entail working directly on the game’s most fun features; such as bosses, character control, minigames and AI. The successful candidate will have initimate knowledge of these gameplay elements. Unreal experience is a must.
What you’ll do:
- Work directly on the game’s moment-to-moment mechanics
- Work autonomously on the game’s minigames under the direction of the design director
- Create and manage boss encounters
- Bug fix existing code
- Create and manage AI behaviours
- Work with the game’s physics system
Requirements:
- Shipped numerous titles with relevant gameplay programming roles
- Demonstrable relevant examples of work
- Examples of both 3D and 2D gameplay experience
- In-depth knowledge of game feel and the nuances of excellent gameplay
- [Essential] Experience working in Unreal Engine in C++
