- Drive decisions around engine choice and customization, ensuring scalability and creative flexibility across projects.
- Partner with project Technical Directors to advise on technical hiring and provide mentorship across infrastructure, DevOps, multiplayer systems, and live ops, ensuring consistency with studio-wide engineering standards.
- Anticipate and mitigate technical risks early, implementing proactive solutions to avoid downstream issues.
- Oversee core technology systems and shared tooling to support multiple game teams with efficiency and consistency.
- Act as a senior technical leader and mentor, supporting engineering leads while fostering technical excellence and a positive team culture.
What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience shipping at least one AAA or high-complexity title in a technical leadership capacity.
- Deep expertise in game engine architecture (Unreal strongly preferred), platform optimization, and multiplayer systems.
- Experience building and scaling backend infrastructure and/or live operations environments.
- Strong collaborator who can translate creative ambition into sustainable technical execution.
- A passion for player-focused design, innovation, and team empowerment.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, fully remote, globally distributed environment.
- Be prepared to work outside traditional office hours as needed to collaborate effectively with our fully remote, global team.
