Job description
As part of the development of a turn-based AA J-RPG for consoles and PC, we are looking for a 3D Character Artist on a permanent contract to join our team.
Your main responsibilities will include:
· Creating 3D characters and creatures for the game based on a semi-realistic stylized art direction
· Integrating these elements into Unity and enhancing their rendering
· Contributing to the improvement of production processes
· Participating in collaborative discussions to enhance game quality
· Engaging in artistic and technical research
Your profile
· You are a compassionate person and can work in an organized and autonomous manner, both independently and as part of a team, with respect and attentive listening;
· Specialized in stylized 3D;
· Proficient in the entire workflow, from high-poly sculpting to retopology, including optimized PBR-type textures;
· Able to produce meshes suitable for animation to facilitate rigging/skinning;
· Familiar with Unity;
· Comfortable with 100% remote work. We have offices in Montpellier for those who prefer working in person, and we are considering expanding to other cities in the future.
· Good level of oral and written English. For English speakers, a minimum knowledge of French is required, or at least a willingness to learn it
Ideally, you have a good understanding of J-RPG culture
Additional information
· Permanent position available immediately – Freelance applications will also be considered
· 35 hours per week – flexible hours with a core schedule from 10 am to 4 pm (with lunch break, of course) – no crunch
· 1 self-care day per month
· Remuneration based on your location and experience
