As a 3D Animator, your primary responsibility is to create captivating animations that bring characters and creatures to life, imbuing them with personality and emotion that enhance the gaming experience. You will be expected to adhere to all project specifications and requirements while delivering high-quality animations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing animations for characters and creatures that meet the artistic and technical requirements of the project.
- Ensuring that animations are game-ready by checking for errors in the engine and learning basic engine processes.
- Collaborating with the team lead to address feedback and implement improvements.
- Submitting completed game-ready assets using Git for seamless integration into the game.
This role requires creativity, technical proficiency, and a willingness to learn new tools and processes to ensure animations are optimized for gameplay.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a 3D Animator, with a robust portfolio showcasing your creativity and technical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Art, Animation, Game Design, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated experience working on successful game projects or personal game development endeavors (portfolio links are highly encouraged).
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
