Rigger/Animator - Unannounced Game

Reanimated Digital is a new indie studio with secured funding looking for a Rigger/Animator to join our experienced team. We are currently developing a groundbreaking 3D MMORPG with innovative features and are seeking passionate developers to join us in the early stages of our growth.

As a Rigger and Animator, you will play a crucial role in bringing life to our game's characters and creatures. Your expertise in rigging and animation will be instrumental in creating captivating and immersive experiences for players. You'll collaborate closely with the Art Team, Art Director, Project Manager, and other departments to ensure that the game's visuals align with the creative vision and maintain the highest quality. We are seeking individuals who excel in rigging and animating characters and creatures, breathing life into our virtual world.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create high-quality rigging systems for characters and creatures using various software and tools.
  • Produce fluid and natural animations that enhance the overall gameplay experience, from combat to interactions.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams, including artists, developers, and designers. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Work closely with the Art Director and fellow artists to ensure animations align with visual consistency and maintain the highest artistic standards.
  • Participate in weekly leadership meetings and scrums to provide updates on your work progress.


To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of working experience as a Rigger/Animator, especially within the gaming industry.
  • Strong proficiency in rigging characters and creatures for a variety of movements and interactions. We place heavy emphasis on facial animation to bring our characters to life.
  • Expertise in industry-standard animation software and tools, such as Maya, Blender, or similar. Experience with motion capture is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of animation principles, timing, and character performance.
  • Excellent knowledge of designing for video game development, including implementing assets in Unity or similar engines.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
  • Passion for mentoring junior artists and involving studio leadership in your artistic process.
  • Awareness of current trends in character rigging and animation within video games.

Desired Experience:

  • In addition to the core qualifications, we are also interested in candidates with the following:
  • Experience with lip-sync animation.
  • Familiarity with technical aspects of animation pipelines and tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting or programming related to character animation.
  • Familiarity with game engines like Unity.
