Ragnarok Games, a gaming studio whose mission is to bridge web2 with web3, launched BloodLoop in 2021: a 5v5 Hero-Shooter that integrates web3 technology with a custom blockchain, simplifying the experience for all users.
CONTRACT: Freelance, full-time
BUDGET: €1,500 / €2,000 per month
LEVEL: Junior / Middle
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A freelance Concept Artist skilled in creating stylized environments (e.g., Overwatch or Valorant).
In this role, you will collaborate in defining the visual style of our games, contributing to the overall artistic direction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create concept art for stylized environments and objects
- Collaborate with the art team to transform concepts into 3D settings and objects
- Provide feedback and refine designs following team suggestions
- Contribute to the enhancement of visual storytelling
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a 2D Environment Concept Artist
- Portfolio showcasing concept art for stylized environments and objects
- Good proficiency with digital illustration software (e.g., Photoshop, Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, ...)
- Knowledge of Blender
- Understanding of composition, color theory, environmental and object design
- Communication and collaboration skills
IMPORTANT INFO
- After an initial selection of resumes, the steps are two: artistic test and interview
- We operate on Discord
- We operate in the GMT+1 (CET) time zone but accept collaborators from any time zone. However, it is required to synchronize your work with the GMT+1 time zone
- We have regular team meetings scheduled, alternatively, choose your own working hours
