The Pipeline Asset Reviewer (PAR) is a specialized pipeline support role focused on validating production-side assets (3D models, rigs, animations, VFX, and UI elements) against established project standards before integration.
PARs operate under the guidance of the Technical Art department but are not Technical Artists.
This role is focused on structured asset review, compliance verification, and reporting, not asset creation or technical development.

- Validate asset naming, structure, transforms, UVs, rigging hierarchy, animation keyframes, VFX setup, and UI prefab integrity.
- Open and inspect assets in Blender and Unity (view-only) for validation purposes.
- Log Pass/Fail results and maintain accurate review records.
- Escalate non-compliant or unclear assets immediately to assigned Technical Artists.
- Participate in maintaining asset tracking sheets and reporting patterns of recurring issues.
- Follow strict pipeline and escalation procedures without deviation.
- Support project stability by acting as the first technical checkpoint before asset integration.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of 3D modeling, rigging, animation, or VFX principles.
- Familiarity with Blender and Unity (Unity use is strictly for viewing and prefab validation; no scene editing or development tasks).
- Strong attention to technical detail and willingness to follow structured processes.
- Good written communication skills for clear reporting and escalation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, checklist-driven environment.
- Willingness to be trained on project-specific pipeline standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a 3D production environment (academic or internship experience accepted).
- Familiarity with basic asset optimization, prefab structure, and naming standards.
- Knowledge of UV mapping and texture basics is a plus.
