Graphics Programmer

We are seeking a graphics programmer to join our team.  The ideal candidate will be passionate about rendering technologies, have excellent problem solving skills and a desire to work in a creative and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with artists and engineers to design, research, schedule and implement rendering features
  • Work on other tools and technology features as required
  • Execute memory and performance optimizations
  • Writes and maintains custom shaders
  • Understands entire graphics engine architecture, from game interface to graphics API interface
Requirements:
  • Existing graphics programming experience
  • Strong knowledge of C++, graphics engine & shader programming models & dedicated languages such as HLSL
  • Familiarity with global lighting methods, dynamic lighting, shadow rendering and similar concepts
  • Excellent 3D math skills
  • Experience profiling and optimizing both CPU and GPU utilization
  • Solid English skills and good communication skills
  • Solid architecture and software design ability
  • Passion for graphics programming and staying on top of current techniques
  • Experience with multithreaded, real-time systems
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Test and document code you write
  • Must be a self-motivated and energetic team player with a very strong work ethic and cooperative attitude
Preferences:
  • 3+ years game industry programming experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least one AAA title shipped as a contributing programmer
