Salary: $120k – $155k • 1.0% – 2.0%
We are a pre-seed, startup looking for a tech lead Rockstar. This Full Stack Tech Lead role is expected to be both an individual contributor and a people and project manager 3-6 months after your start date. You are expected to do all of the coding on the front end and convert to 50% coding and 50% managing a distributed and remote team.

What we are looking for:
• Exceptional ability to work across the tech stack (front-end & back-end)
• Proven experience in building tech services/systems that scale
• Ability to come up with multiple solutions to a problem
• Experience in mentoring teams & driving design/development/deployment decisions for platforms built to scale
• Prior expertise in managing resources for multiple parallel tech projects to ensure milestones are met that align with the business goal
• Good understanding of Micro-Services Architectures and DevOps
• Experience and understanding of large, complex codebases and architectures
• Experience in API design and software lifecycle development practices
• Great de-bugging skills
• A strong understanding of DB Schema Design, Data Structures and trade-offs involved in writing queries
• Good to have experience of working with a startup
• You are a techie through and through with deep expertise in data science, software engineering, product development,
• Someone who can discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
• Experience in leading a team (>3 direct reports)
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of engineering architecture, techniques/libraries/algorithms
The must-haves
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or in a related field. Master’s in Computer Science preferred
• Good understanding of algorithms, data structures & design patterns
• Minimum of 6 years of work experience & a minimum of 2 years of work experience as a tech lead
