About the Project:
Join award-winning game creators in developing a unique pseudo-3D stealth-adventure game set during the Palestinian Nakba of 1948. The project is designed for an Q4-2026 PC-first, multi-platform release, with a focus on realistic representation of the historical subject matter.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure delivery of game assets in accordance with production plan.
- Oversee and coordinate the work of 2D/3D artists and animators.
- Collaborate closely with design and programming teams to ensure artistic consistency.
- Create high-quality visual assets and ensure they align with the game’s art design document and historical authenticity of the game.
- Optimize assets for performance and quality within Unity.
Requirements:
- Experience as an art lead or senior artist, ideally on one or more shipped indie games in similar genres.
- Management experience; confident leading and mentoring a team of artists and animators.
- Environmental art specialization preferred.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in stylized or historically influenced art.
- Proficient in industry-standard tools (Photoshop, Blender, Maya, etc.).
- Deep understanding of Unity’s art pipeline and optimization techniques.
- Ability to communicate and work in a distributed team.
