We are looking for a 3D Environment Artist to help build the world of a dark fantasy action ARPG with anime influences. You will work closely with the Art Director and Art Lead to create high-quality environment assets used to assemble game levels and biomes.
Responsibilities
- Model environment assets, architecture, props, and vegetation
- Build modular kits for level construction
- Create game-ready assets including UVs, textures, and LODs
- Ensure assets follow technical standards and performance targets
Requirements
- Experience modeling 3D game assets for real-time environments
- Strong understanding of scalability, texel density, and asset optimization
- Knowledge of UVs, lightmaps, and texture production workflows
- Experience creating tiling textures, atlases, and unique assets
- Ability to create LOD chains and optimized assets for game performance
- Experience building modular environment kits and vegetation assets
- Experience working on stylized or semi-stylized environments
- Experience working in Unreal Engine
- Ability to work from concept art and follow art direction while maintaining consistency with the project's visual style
Nice-to-Have
- Experience working on anime-style games
- Experience working on mobile games
- Portfolio demonstrating game-ready environment assets
