Netcode Engineer - UK/Germany/Remote - £80k

My client is looking for a Network/Netcode Programmer to join their well-established company. They are working with numerous industry leaders using high spec technology to create metaverse projects. The salary on offer is up to the equivalent of £80k (depending on the candidate) + benefits. This can also provide remote working opportunities across the UK and Germany.
The client is looking for you to bring a fresh take on implementing Netcode systems. You will be responsible for implementing Netcode frameworks. You will also be responsible for fixing and maintaining existing network systems/features. Lastly, you will also be expected to optimise the netcode to make the game more efficient.
The ideal candidate we are looking for would ideally have experience in a similar position and harbour some of the following skills.
- Several years’ experience working with C++
- Previous experience with Netcode performance/security
- Experience working on multiplayer projects
- Problem solving ability
