Remote Art and Animation Jobs.
We're looking for a voxel artist to work on our (still) unannounced game!
VoxRay games is a team of 5 mostly based in the US, but will consider candidates anywhere in the world, remote, full-time or part-time.
Besides the basics (very efficient at producing aesthetically pleasing voxel art), we're looking for an artist that is fairly technical, since we have a unique ray-traced engine and scene structure that will require the artist to think modularly:
All our art is made from multiples of 9x9x9 blocks of voxels, and how art is created from these blocks doesn't just affect the look, it affects gameplay, physics, and level design.
Since we're a small team, we're also looking for a high level of initiative in finding ways to make the game look better, finding things to improve, and drive the visual look working with the rest of the team. Actively involved, instead of just working from an asset list.
To apply, DM us on Twitter with links to past work if interested!
Please have a look at other tweets of this account to get an idea of what our game looks like so far :)
