The game has been featured at gaming conventions such as Dreamhack, Tokyo Game Show, Bitsummit, etc. In 2019, it won the “Best Unreal Engine 4 Game” award at GTP Indie Cup.
At the moment we’re in the final phase of scripting the main story content and in the process of enriching the game world with side-activities.
At least 2 years of prior experience on a game designer position
Familiarity with Unreal Engine 4 and its Blueprint scripting language
Familiarity with using MS Excel for in-game balancing
Self-organization. Our team is entirely remote and has no strict hierarchies
Genuine interest in CRPG, JRPG and TRPG
Ideal candidate will also have:
Technical background and understanding of core programming principles
Experience at making their own games
Skills at using 3D modelling software (Blender, Maya, etc.)
Skills at using 2D graphics software (Photoshop, Gimp)
Experience with source control tools (we use SVN)
Familiarity with task managing tools (Trello, Hack’n’Plan, Jira, Asana)
Your responsibilities will include:
Placement and configuration of interactive objects (chests, NPCs, etc) in UE4 Editor
Scripting of quest logic using BP, based on the dialogue scripts provided by our narrative designer
Setting up and fine tuning player character progression (character levels and abilities)
Balancing items’ effects and prices
Combat encounter design and tuning
A chance at participating in development of an original game already acknowledged by RPG fans all over the world
Work-for-hire contract, full-time or part-time, with either hourly or monthly rate
