The Game

We are building a Sci Fi Space MMO Shooter inspired by old titles like Freelancer and Earth and Beyond. If you love space games and want to be on the cutting edge of a brand new game and studio then here is your chance. We have a fully built Alpha and looking to grow the team and prepare us for Beta. 

The Opportunity
 
Seeking a Unity Tech Artist with ample experience in shaders, rendering, optimization, and Universal Render Pipeline. Steamcore is an online-multiplayer game with brand new social mechanics; because of the massive nature of the experience, great optimization for a wide range of PC specs is a major cornerstone for us.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • 3+ years professional experience in a Tech Artist or Art+Development position.
  • Highly skilled in shader code, C#, Shader Graph, VFX Graph, animation systems and asset optimization.
  • Knowledge of the entire Unity pipeline and all components.
  • Experience in Git workflow
  • Experience in Asset Bundles / Addressable asset system
  • Self-starter attitude, with the ability to identify and correct problem areas on your own, helping upskill the team and establishing internal best practices.
