About the role

We are looking for an active community participant to join our team remotely, and support us in regular community-focused activities for the Stellaris: Galaxy Command Players.

You’ll be sharing important announcements with the players, creating posts and content for our social media channels. You will be interacting with our players on daily basis, by responding to their comments, questions and taking part in conversations.

You will be tasked with identifying important community feedback and turning it into relevant reports for the developers and the community team. Your observations about the game and the players will be vital to decisions regarding development priorities and focuses in the community strategy.

You will be working remotely, as a freelancer, 20 hours per week, and coordinating with our team via our internal communication tools.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and posting regular content on Stellaris: Galaxy Command’s Social Media channels.
  • Interacting with the players on official and fan-driven community hubs.
  • Formulating weekly, concise and relevant reports about the community sentiment for the game team.
  • Supporting the game team in daily community-related activities, like contests, events and giveaways.
  • Actively play Stellaris: Galaxy Command and participate in official and unofficial community events.
Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills and composure.
  • Experience in community-focused projects, like moderating, administrating or leading successful fan communities and initiatives.
  • Understanding of essential Social Media channels: Twitter, Facebook & Discord.
  • Knowledge of the broad mobile gaming community and online competitive games.
  • Basic know-how of Google Docs and Google Sheets.
  • Basic knowledge of image-editing tools like GIMP or Photoshop is not a requirement but will be seen as a great asset.
The Community Ambassador is an entry-level, freelancing, position with Paradox Interactive, and you can count on the support of your peers and colleagues in helping you prioritize your work and further develop your skills.
