NOWWA is looking for a highly talented Senior Character Rigger to help us bring our characters to life in our game BulletVille. We are building a fast paced 3rd Person Parkour Hero Shooter with a big roster, lots of guns and a ton of abilities!

What we're looking for
NOWWA is searching for a highly talented and self-motivated 3D Character Rigger to take ownership of the character pipeline from Mesh into highly polished and Animated characters inside Unreal Engine 4/5 and be especially proactive in their duties. They will be able to work with Artists and Animators directly to solve all rig needs. They will be able to spot problems in a Mesh topology, proportions and skinning as well as come up with solutions to fix each of them quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Create and refine Rigs, Fully Scripted and suitable for animation and Unreal Engine needs
Detect, troubleshoot and Fix Rig Issues and maintain a high bar of Quality
Prototype, Implement and Refine rigging solutions
Provide Rigging solutions for a Wide Cast of Characters
Own and Maintain the rigs and rigging Toolset
Develop the Pipeline and rigging Standards
Be very Proactive in spotting potential issues before they become a problem
Plan & Execute on management direction and project needs
Meet delivery Deadlines under production constraints
Qualifications
5+ years in game development Character Art Pipeline with shipped titles
Excellent Eye for Quality & ability to work directly with Artists and Animators
Experienced working inside Unreal Engine 4/5
Expert in 3D Art Pipeline: Meshes, UV’s, Rigging and Animation
Expert in Art & Animation Principles like Proportions, Anatomy, Motion, etc.
Expert in Topology, Proportions & Skinning in relation to rigging & animation
Full knowledge of essential art packages such as Maya
Great reading & writing skills in English; Spanish and Russian a bonus
Ability to problem solve, but more importantly, prevent
Nice to Have
Technical Animation skills
Python scripting knowledge
Knowledge in general Coding/Blueprints
Knowledge in Animation Blueprints
Experience Modeling, Animating, and setting up Toolsets
Experience using Unreal Engine Control Rig
Familiar with MetaHuman and Unreal Engine skeletons
Experience working on Action/Shooter/Third Person games
Familiar with version control systems (P4V)
