Monomi Park is seeking a talented Production Director to join our team!
The Production Director is an essential part of the development team and spearheads efforts to develop quality products from concept through the post-launch environment. The Production Director must be organized, efficient and capable of leading, both directly and indirectly, multiple small teams working on different projects in various stages of development. They must oversee the creation and ongoing management of the development schedule and team resources to ensure that releases, features and other game elements are completed on time and with a high degree of execution. They must also directly lead and mentor other producers within the company.
Candidates should have the following qualities:
6+ years of associated experience (game production / design / product management).
2+ shipped game titles, preferably top-tier console or PC games through multiple cycles in a Production role.
Comprehensive understanding of game development, from concept through post-launch environment.
Results-oriented, with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to motivate team members and provide clear direction.
Strong understanding of KPIs and up to date knowledge of market trends.
Strong communication and leadership skills, highly organized and self-directed.
Exceptional attention to detail and follow through.
Proficient with JIRA, Confluence and other project management tools.
Strong verbal, written and visual information skills.
The position will be expected to perform the following at Monomi Park:
Oversee the creation, maintenance, and execution of the production schedule for two major projects in different stages of development.
Maintain awareness of the overall vision for two major projects and be able to communicate this vision effectively.
Collaborate with department and team leads to create release roadmaps, including milestone breakdowns and individual sprints.
Create and maintain channels of communication across teams to keep members informed of project status, goals, priorities, deadlines and other important information.
Strategize and build relationships with stakeholders and get consensus around development priorities at all given stages of the project's lifecycle.
Identify high-level risks in production’s critical paths.
Conduct regular meetings and maintain shared documentation to facilitate clear communication and stakeholder visibility into project status at all times.
Assist with resource planning (internal and external) to ensure production schedules are met.
Provide informed input to guide and determine schedule-related assessments.
Assist with driving day-to-day tasks and delegation.
Work with teams to identify and promote visibility of task dependencies.
Work with internal and external teams to improve development processes and implement best practices.
Manage production team members across the studio, including serving as a mentor and providing guidance and skill improvement resources.
Provide help with hiring, personnel reviews and other HR initiatives.
