Remote Part-Time Game Artist
Hidden Achievement is looking for a part-time paid contract game artist to work on our currently in-development indie title, which is a science-fiction game with cute creatures. While we would prefer one artist for this work, we would be willing to work with multiple artists of various specializations, if they can share a cohesive vision for the work.
DUTIES
- Develop cohesive concept art for game screens, creatures, and biomes.
- Create 3D art assets for creatures, buildings, and environmental elements.
- Design UI art assets for desktop, console, and mobile.
- Create marketing graphic design assets, such as logos, store banners, and website art.
REQUIREMENTS
- Understand what it means to prepare "game ready" assets.
- Have a working knowledge of modern game art pipelines.
- Be comfortable working in Blender, or another 3D modeling application of your choice.
BONUS SKILLS (BUT WE CAN TEACH YOU THESE THINGS)
- Know how to use Unity, and how to integrate art assets into Unity projects.
- Understand how to use at least one version control system.
- Know how to do basic game VFX.
