Description
As an Animator, you’ll work closely with the Art and Design teams as well as the Creative Director to create fun and appealing animations that give life to our very unique and stylish characters. Join a passionate team of talented individuals working on an innovative AAA team shooter with new and interesting challenges in a world where slime is ubiquitous.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with Artists and Designers to create fun and appealing animations
- Create rapid animation prototypes as part of our idea brainstorming process
- Work with our Technical Artists and the Technical Animator to optimize our animation pipeline
- Create skeletons and animations for characters and environmental objects
- Troubleshoot animation issues
- Work with other remote developers from different disciplines to identify, plan and deliver content
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- 1+ years experience in video game development
- Experience shipping game projects
- A portfolio that demonstrates AAA-quality gameplay animation skills, it may include animation tests and other samples you’d like to showcase
- Experience with asset creation tools like Maya, Blender or 3ds Max
- An understanding of performance trade-offs
- Familiarity with video game content pipelines
Nice to Have
- 5+ years experience in video game development
- Familiar with Unreal Engine 4/5
- An active interest in eSports
