We are seeking a talented and versatile 3D Generalist to join our game development team in the mobile game industry. As a 3D Generalist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D assets, characters, environments, props and creatures for our mobile games. You will collaborate closely with our design, art, and development teams to bring our game concepts to life.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create visually stunning and optimized 3D assets for mobile games, including characters, mechs, environments, props, and creatures.
  2. Collaborate with the design and art teams to conceptualize and execute the artistic vision of our games.
  3. Ensure that all 3D assets are optimized for mobile platforms, considering performance and memory limitations.
  4. Use industry-standard software (such as Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Blender, Marmoset toolbag and Substance Painter) to model and texture 3D assets.
  5. Create stylized textures and materials that enhance the visual quality of the game.
  6. Work closely with the development team to integrate 3D assets into the game engine, ensuring proper functionality and visual fidelity.
  7. Maintain consistent art style and quality throughout the game, adhering to established guidelines and specifications.
  8. Collaborate with other artists, animators, and designers to ensure seamless integration of 3D assets into the game.
  9. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in 3D art and mobile game development, and share knowledge with the team.
  10. Assist in problem-solving and provide creative solutions to overcome technical and artistic challenges.
Requirements:
  1. Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in creating high-quality 3D assets for games. Solid understanding of mobile game development pipelines and limitations.
  2. Proficient in industry-standard 3D modeling, texturing, and animation software (such as Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Blender, Marmoset toolbag and Substance Painter).
  3. Knowledge of optimization techniques for mobile platforms, including polygon budgeting, texture compression, and LODs (Level of Detail).
  4. Experience in creating stylized textures and materials using software like Substance Painter or Photoshop.
  5. Familiarity with game engines (such as Unity or Unreal Engine) and the ability to integrate 3D assets into the engine.
  6. Strong artistic and design skills, with an eye for detail, color, composition, and lighting.
  7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  8. Ability to adapt to different art styles and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Passion for mobile games and a strong understanding of their visual and technical requirements.
