Bithell Games was founded in 2013 after the success of Thomas Was Alone, and has since continued that success with a string of games, from original IP, to collaborations on licensed IP. We’re known internationally for our often surprising, but always entertaining projects.
Our team is made up of a mix of full time and contract employees, all working remotely since the company’s founding. This lets us work fast, creatively and with more flexibility. We take enormous pride in the quality of the games we produce, but put equal weight on our company’s treatment of workers. We have never crunched, and we never will.
We have a number of exciting projects on the boil right now, and are hiring for a range of roles. We’re excited to continue to expand our team and make more awesome games.
Currently, we’re looking for a Marketing Manager. This is a new role for the company and you will be responsible for leading the overall planning and execution of marketing initiatives and campaigns for internal projects.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with directors to design and deliver digital marketing campaigns for our games, from concept to execution.
- Work alongside the development team to integrate marketing initiatives into the development cycle of new games
- Identify and monitor marketing opportunities for the existing Bithell Games portfolio
- Analyse and report on campaign performance throughout the marketing lifecycle
- Work with publishing and platform partners to build effective co-marketing strategies and prospects for upcoming titles
- Oversee marketing asset production, delivery and distribution
- Create marketing copy for brand activity and product releases
- Monitor and manage social media and forums
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a marketing role in a video game company
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent awareness of digital marketing trends
- Eagerness for innovation and to generate creative new ideas
Nice to have:
- Management experience
- Experience working with console platform holders
- Comfortable using data and KPIs to assess integrated marketing campaign performance
