Arctic Theory is looking for a Technical Artist to join its Game team.
As a Technical Artist, you will have the opportunity to join us in the early stages of development. In this cross-functional role, you will work closely with the development and art teams to bring meaningful and engaging experiences to life in a multiplayer virtual world.
Responsibilities:
- Review and implement content within the game engine
- Serve as a bridge between the art and development teams
- Spot and find solutions to potential problems and art related issues
- Work with programmers to diagnose software problems
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience within the gaming industry or similar preferred
- Great attention to detail from both technical and artistic perspectives
- Experience with game engines and workflows (Unreal Engine experience required)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent technical problem solving skills
