We’re looking for a part-time Community Manager to help us grow our Discord community and manage our social media presence across Twitter/X and TikTok. We want to create a positive community—building deep, enduring connections that extend beyond our games and enrich people’s lives.

We’re looking for a part-time Community Manager to help us grow our Discord community and manage our social media presence across Twitter/X and TikTok. We want to create a positive community—building deep, enduring connections that extend beyond our games and enrich people’s lives.
This is a contract role. We currently anticipate 10-20 hours per week for an indefinite term (except where limited by local law).
Core responsibilities & objectives
- Collaborate with studio leadership to develop, drive, and report on a community engagement programs and activities roadmap.
- Engage with the community on a daily basis through social media channels—ensuring consistent, engaging, and on-brand content.
- Track, measure, and report on community sentiment and growth.
- Generate game-specific community feedback reports to help identify opportunities to drive player satisfaction and engagement.
- Collaborate on studio communications and PR, especially during release windows.
- Work closely with studio leadership to develop and scope planning to ensure reasonable development timeframes and work/life balance.
- Model joyful collaboration, open communication, and a respectful, inclusive work culture.
Core traits (skills, knowledge, experience)
- Proven experience as a Community Manager or similar role—ideally game industry related (2+ years).
- Strong understanding of community engagement and social media management in the video game industry.
- Experience creating social media content across a variety of platforms.
- Experience tracking and reporting on community metrics and sentiment.
- Experience building and maintaining safe and welcoming Discord communities.
- Experience creating strategies to convert players into engaged community members.
Bonus (nice to have but not required)
- Prior community management experience on early access games; pre and post launch.
- Experience analyzing and reporting on engagement and other metrics.
- Experience with content creation and editing tools (video, motion graphics, etc).
- Design experience or comfort engaging w/design work. Everyone at 2weeks has the opportunity to propose games and is expected to jump into design discussions to help iterate and improve our games.

This is a remote, contract role that is open to applications from North America.
Pay transparency information
The hourly rate range for this role is $50 USD; 10-20 hours a week.
