The Role

We are hiring a Project Operations Manager to join our brand licensing team and bring efficient project management and IP supervision to our stakeholders: owners of the world’s biggest brands and developers of China’s most successful global games.

Over the past year, Yodo1’s brand licensing team has brought some of the world’s biggest brands, including Hasbro’s Transformers, Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering and more, to life in China’s hottest mobile games and helped domestic developers engage with global audiences. Our goal is to help Chinese developers succeed in the global mobile gaming market through brand collaborations. Responsibilities
  • Communicating with global IP holders on game crossover opportunities in China, understanding the values of each brand, and maintaining strong relationships
  • Taking ownership in overall project operations with domestic game developers, to help them maximize revenue and brand awareness through global IP collaborations
  • Supporting all necessary tasks for licensors and sublicensees by driving the project management, executing IP supervision, and ensuring smooth launches in the target markets
  • Cooperating with our sales and business development team to support the effective integration of brands in games
  • Continuously building your understanding of the licensing and gaming industries; assisting the team in maintaining good customer relationships and keeping abreast of customer and project trends
  • Regularly completing the evaluation and analysis of cooperation projects effectively communicating the results and learnings

Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in mobile gaming, with proven experience in project management.
  • Native-level Chinese fluency with strong spoken and written English and the ability to communicate and cooperate across cultures.
  • Passionate about games, especially for mobile, and familiar with ACGN culture in Europe, America, Japan, or Korea.
  • Self-motivated problem solver; able to learn quickly and continuously and excel in a fast-paced, KPI-driven team.
Preferred
  • Experience in digital IP operations
  • Familiarity with remote work software
  • Skilled in copywriting
