The Role

We are hiring a Business Development Manager to join our game publishing team who will scout the world for indie mobile games and uncover hidden gems to help us expand our portfolio of successful partners.

Joining Yodo1’s global team will give you opportunities to learn and grow by helping top game developers maximize revenue and brand awareness, fostering strong, long-term relations with up-and-coming mobile developers, and becoming an expert in the fast-growing mobile gaming industry.

  • Source new high-potential game studios for publishing. Research, reach out, talk to and meet with studios around the world. Your goal is to close new publishing partnerships with mobile indie game developers.
  • Onboard and coach studios when they first start working with us on various aspects of their games.
  • Develop a good relationship with the studios to ensure you can close those that show potential.
  • Analyze games from a metrics, gameplay and design point of view and share your assessment with our teams. This requires smooth internal collaboration and communication.
  • Get involved in creating content—such as articles, webinars, or interviews—with our Marketing teams that they can use to generate leads.
  • Help reshape and improve our Game Publishing department by getting involved proactively
  • 2+ years in outbound sales or a business development role
  • Previous experience in a gaming company or a company in the gaming ecosystem is required.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary to support the UA teams in making revenue projections and other calculations.
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, concisely, and proactively with colleagues across multiple countries and time zones
  • To succeed, you will need a serious passion for gaming and be familiar with mobile games
  • Ability to speak Korean and/or Japanese
  • Familiarity with gaming concepts (IAA, LTV, RPI, ARPDAU, etc.) and the logic behind them
