WW1 Game Series looking for a freelance 3D animator which will work on first person and third person animations for Isonzo. WW1 Game Series is known for its authentic WW1 Multiplayer FPS games such as Verdun and Tannenberg. We are a fully remote team and candidates are also expected to work remotely and communicate via Discord.
For this position we are looking for an experienced 3D Animator which has a broad knowledge on game animation and game art. In this position you will be working creating various third person character animations and first person weapon animations
Skills Required:
- Creation of high quality animations
- Close collaboration with other team members to develop an great player experience
- Able to accurately plan and estimate workload
- Able to verify the work-quality once imported into the game, and make improvements when necessary
- Being familiar with agile-methodologies
Bonus:
- Knowledge on the Unity engine
- Familiarity with SVN version control
- WW1 History knowledge

The WW1 Game Series is a series of intense multiplayer first-person shooters delivering authentic First World War action. There’s attention to detail in everything from weapon models and uniforms to trench designs and gameplay that reflects the different theaters of the Great War.
Verdun led the way for authentic WW1 action with close-quarters trench warfare, Tannenberg expanded the experience with maneuver warfare in Russia, and the newest upcoming title Isonzo is taking it to the next level with high-altitude combat in the Alps!
The games are built on a base of thorough research including field trips, museum visits, and a lot of historical documentation and images! They receive extensive post-release support bringing new content and challenges for our players. Each game in the series is standalone and provides a different experience, with specific game modes for each of the many-sided theaters of the war.
