🎯 Role Overview
We primarily develop vehicle-related games and are looking for a Vehicle Technical Artist to join our team. You will take finished vehicle models from the Vehicle Art team and turn them into polished, fully functional, release-ready vehicles for our games.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Integrate finished vehicle models into Roblox Studio, including materials, textures, pivots, collisions, and other required setup.
- Configure vehicles within our existing game systems and ensure all components function correctly.
- Tune vehicle performance and handling, including acceleration, top speed, braking, steering, grip, and other relevant values.
- Create, edit, and implement vehicle sound sets, including startup, idle, and rev sounds.
- Render vehicle icons in Blender using an existing template scene while maintaining a consistent visual style.
- Review integrated vehicles for visual, technical, and performance issues.
- Make small adjustments or fixes to vehicle models when needed and coordinate more complex changes with the Vehicle Art team.
- Test completed vehicles in-game and troubleshoot integration, handling, audio, and performance problems.
- Maintain consistent vehicle setup standards and help improve the integration workflow over time.
🧠 Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience as a 3D Artist, Technical Artist, or in a similar role.
- Experience preparing or integrating 3D assets for a game engine.
- Working knowledge of Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, or similar 3D software.
- Able to make basic adjustments and fixes to vehicle models.
- Basic experience with audio-editing software such as Audacity, Reaper, or similar.
- Good knowledge of cars and an understanding of vehicle performance and behavior.
- Strong attention to visual and technical detail.
- Able to work independently, stay organized, and take ownership of vehicles from art handoff through final integration.
- Good written and spoken English.
- A portfolio demonstrating relevant technical art, game-engine integration, or game-ready hard-surface work.
