Who We're Looking For:
Talofa is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to work on our mobile fitness games. We’re looking for someone passionate about working with a collaborative remote-first team and in an agile live-ops environment. Your high-level responsibility will be to design the user experience as well as the user interface of our game. Your role will involve deeply understanding the needs of our users and the features of our game and using your insights to define a compelling user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and design UX solutions through user research, user flows, wireframes, and usability testing
- Work closely with game designers, developers, and artists to realize a comprehensive vision for the game's user experience.
- Create concepts, wireframes, mockups, or prototypes to define, present, and iterate on UX and UI designs.
- Create intuitive and visually appealing UI assets for the game
- Communicate and collaborate with different team members in making key design decisions
- Align with artist(s) to ensure visual consistency on the game’s overall aesthetic
- Ensure all completed UI assets are implemented and optimized for mobile phones on iOS and Android
- Attend design and art meetings with multiple members of the team
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience in mobile game UX/UI
- Expertise in creative software such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD or similar tools.
- Ability to create visually appealing and consistent designs that align with the game's aesthetic.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentational skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience working in Unity and the ability to implement user interface elements directly in Unity.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to conduct usability tests and iterate on designs based on feedback.
- A passion for fitness or gamified fitness products and games for social impact
