Scopely is looking for a Senior Manager, Community Management to join our MARVEL Strike Force game team in our Culver City studio hub, or remotely within the US.

Marvel Strike Force is Scopely's squad-based Hero Collector RPG, housing heroes and villains from across the Marvel Universe.
What you will do
As the Senior Manager, Community Management, you will play a key role in fostering the growth of the MARVEL Strike Force community by acting as one of its public faces, actively engaging players on Discord and social media channels, creating and leading community events and streams, and collaborating with stakeholders. You will set strategy, develop tactics, and guide the Community team. Your passion for gaming and in-depth knowledge of the digital content landscape will drive growth, visibility, and engagement with our brand.
- Speak and Interact with our player community directly on various platforms as the ‘voice’ of MARVEL Strike Force
- Own our global community communications, engagement and growth strategies from development to execution
- Own the vision, plan, and execution of communicating with players via Patch Notes, Developer Roadmap Updates, Feature Announcements, and Others
- Develop and publish reporting and insights around community sentiment, Voice of the Player, emerging trends and other relevant areas to aid in decision-making at all levels of the organization
- Partner with internal teams to maintain and iterate on our calendar strategy including the planning of key beats, character announcements, feature events and more
- Lead the creation and development of engaging and shareable content (example: Write Blogs, videos, and social media to keep player informed)
- Lead a diverse team of Community specialists to grow and develop both our community and their careers.
- Monitor and Convey Player Feedback from different types of players (Highly Engaged, Creators, Casual, etc.)
- Organize and execute community events, to celebrate milestones, launch new content, and foster a sense of community.
- Champion the player perspective within the development team, advocating for features and improvements based on community feedback
What you’ll bring
- Passion for MARVEL Strike Force and understanding of its community
- 8+ years experience in community management or related roles
- Experience in leading a team of community specialist
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with content creators, external moderators, and/or highly engaged player/VIP or ambassador programs
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing online communities
- Familiarity with social media platforms, forums, and community management tools
For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY and WA, the annual salary range is $118,000 - $174,000, plus bonus and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time-off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
