Producer (Remote)

Redstone Interactive is looking for a talented Producer to help us make and support our current game “Beyond the Wire”.
As a Producer, you are an essential part of the development team and spearhead the production efforts for our games. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the execution and completion of development efforts across disciplines and departments, managing scope, timelines and releases. Additionally, you’ll report development updates to stakeholders such as our publisher, marketing department and community manager.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and execute on production schedule for Beyond The Wire
  • Drive awareness of the overall vision Beyond The Wire in collaboration with Creative Director and Lead Game Designer
  • Collaborate with department and team leads to create release roadmaps, milestone breakdowns and sprints plans.
  • Communicate across teams to keep members informed of project status, goals, priorities, deadlines and other important information.
  • Strategize and build relationships with stakeholders and get consensus around development priorities at all given stages of the project's life cycle.
  • Identify high-level risks in production’s critical paths.
  • Conduct regular meetings and maintain documentation for clear communication and stakeholder visibility into project status at all times.
  • Resource planning to ensure production schedules are met. 
  • Drive day-to-day tasks delegation and triage.
  • Work with teams to identify and promote visibility of task dependencies.
  • Work with internal and external teams to improve development processes and implement best practices.
  • Provide help with hiring, personnel reviews and other HR initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of associated experience (game production / design / product management).
  • 1+ shipped game titles, preferably console or PC games
  • Comprehensive understanding of game development, from concept through post-launch environment.
  • Results-oriented, with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to motivate team members and provide clear direction.
  • Strong understanding of KPIs and up to date knowledge of market trends.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, highly organized and self-directed.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow through.
  • Proficient with JIRA, Confluence and other project management tools.
  • Strong verbal, written and visual information skills.

Contract Length:
3 months probation, long-term contract afterwards
