We are seeking a Freelance Unreal Engine 5 Developer to implement and polish core gameplay systems for our game demo.

You’ll be responsible for turning design concepts into functional, interactive systems — ensuring that movement, interaction, and overall gameplay feel cohesive, responsive, and enjoyable.

This role requires strong technical skills, creativity in problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate remotely with designers and artists.

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

Develop and implement core gameplay mechanics (movement, interaction, camera, UI logic, etc.) using C++ and Blueprints.
Build and integrate prototype systems to demonstrate gameplay flow and player feedback.
Collaborate closely with designers to translate design intentions into functional gameplay experiences.
Optimize performance and ensure stability across demo builds.
Troubleshoot and debug gameplay-related issues.
Deliver clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

Proven experience developing in Unreal Engine 5.
Strong skills in C++ programming and Blueprint scripting.
Understanding of gameplay systems, player control, animation blueprints, and game logic architecture.
Experience in building prototypes or vertical slices/demos preferred.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
Comfortable working independently in a remote team setup.
Excellent communication skills in English.
