As a Senior Producer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that game development projects are planned, estimated, managed and delivered efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with the Product Owner and Art Leads, sharing responsibility for fostering a positive project and team culture. Your familiarity with game development production cycles will enable you to anticipate potential pitfalls, facilitate team support at all levels, and ensure that all necessary resources and information are available for successful project completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Stakeholder Alignment: Engage with stakeholders to establish and confirm major milestones, review schedules, deliverables, production phases, and holiday timelines. Ensure effective communication of pertinent updates to the team and client through regular meetings

Communication Channels: Prevent team silos by establishing appropriate communication channels that cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective collaboration among team members

Production Estimation: Collaborate closely with Art Team Leads to estimate production timelines and scope, translating this data into clear and comprehensive schedules to enhance visibility and foresight for both the team and stakeholders

Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks associated with project execution and develop strategies to assist the team in navigating challenges and obstacles in a timely manner

Team Prioritization: Establish clear and realistic priorities to ensure the team is healthy, motivated and productive while preventing feelings of overload or stagnation of work

Career Development: Assist Team Leads in setting clear goals for individual team member career progression, ensuring team members experience structured opportunities for professional growth

Succession Planning Review: Conduct regular assessments of the overall team structure to ensure robust succession and contingency plans that support continuity in project execution

Budget Coordination: Coordinate with the Product Owner on recruitment budget and production expenses, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives

Production Status Reporting: Keep the Product Owner and relevant stakeholders informed regarding production statuses, velocities, bottlenecks, and challenges encountered during the development process

Quality Assurance Overview: Oversee the Quality Assurance testing process to ensure that the game adheres to the quality standards. Coordinate with Quality Assurance testers to prioritize and address critical issues proactively
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 5-8 years of proven experience in production and project management, preferably within the video game industry.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills capable of driving clarity on projects and delivery-related topics.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to make decisions under pressure.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of AAA game development processes, and industry-standard production tools
- Methodological Familiarity: Ability to adapt and align with client-specific workflows and needs
- Cultural Awareness: Adept at production coordination across a varied cultures, time zones, and work environments

HARD SKILLS
- Proficient in project management tools (Shotgrid, but also familiar with Jira, Trello, and Excel)
