POSITION SUMMARY

Moonrock is on the hunt for a driven Growth Strategist to spearhead audience expansion for Restart.run (https://www.restart.run/), our Walmart-sponsored video game website. This role blends strategic planning, marketing insight, and community understanding to grow our platform’s reach—on-site and across social media. You’ll guide efforts in both organic and paid channels while interpreting data to identify winning patterns and opportunities for improvement. A deep knowledge of gaming culture and digital engagement is highly preferred, as is a collaborative mindset. This strategist will serve as the connective tissue between editorial, event, and content teams to ensure a cohesive and compelling experience for users and brand partners alike.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (from critical to least critical)

● Lead strategy and execution for site and social growth initiatives
● Produce monthly reports on traffic trends, insights, and next steps
● Diagnose performance gaps and shape strategies that foster audience retention
● Collaborate with the events team to integrate live/digital activations and drive cross-platform traffic
● Work with editors to align content output with growth goals and user engagement best practices
● Build brand visibility through integrated site/event campaigns

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

● Strong background in digital marketing, audience development, or project strategy
● Deep understanding of gaming culture, user behavior, and content trends
● Passion for working cross-functionally with content creators, event planners, and marketing teams
● No coding or technical background required External R&R Doc Growth Strategist Preferred:
● Experience with organic and paid growth techniques
