Monomi Park is looking for an experienced writer to develop story and dialogue for future adventures in the wiggly world of Slime Rancher!
The ideal candidate is someone with experience writing for shipped games, who can write in a lively, comedic style, and who understands and loves the world of Slime Rancher.
This is a remote, contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist game designers in high level story framework for new Slime Rancher content
- Write dialogue for character interactions, and help develop their stories
- Write an assortment of Slimepedia entries, item descriptions, and other flavor text
- Punch up existing text to make it clearer, snappier, or funnier
Qualifications:
- Experience writing story and dialogue for at least one shipped game
- The ability to manage multiple writing projects simultaneously
- A portfolio with writing samples that clearly demonstrates your work
- Bonus: A deep understanding of the world of Slime Rancher
- Bonus: Experience as a narrative designer on a shipped title
