Duration: Permanent, Full-time

Metanaut is hiring! Join our small but passionate team to build VR experiences, working closely with every member of the team. Successful candidates are positive, inclusive, organized, and has served a technical role before.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee, manage, and prioritize the day-to-day operations of all projects including Gadgeteer, and an unannounced VR experience using Trello and/or other PM software
- Lead weekly sprint meetings by communicating project status and action items to the team
- Conduct reporting, training, scheduling, and maintenance
- Adhere to and improve processes and workflows
- Manage and contribute to project wikis
- Lead and contribute a variety of external engagements / collaborations with online communities and local ecosystem partners
- Create short-form marketing posts on social media, studio blog, and newsletter
- Test new features & report bugs
- Assist in creating key documents (ex. presentations, grants, etc.)
- Provide strategic input to the leadership team to help shape the direction of key initiatives
- Participate in daily scrum meetings (online) and weekly sprint meetings (in-person)
Requirements:
- 1+ years leading software development projects
- Good understanding of VR/AR development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Diplomatic and highly organized
- Experience as a software developer or creative technologist
- Experience with Unity and version control software
- Dedicated to creating high quality VR experiences
- Disciplined without needing constant supervision in a home environment
Nice to haves:
- Past experience working remotely
- Owns a VR headset and VR-ready PC (hardware can be provided as well)
- Have run workshops, seminars, events
- Basic graphic design skills
- Good relationship with local VR/AR communities
