Our Game
Our debut project is a narrative-driven 3rd-person 3D puzzle adventure game set in the Islamic Golden Age, which explores themes of grief and loss.

The Role
We are looking for a Marketing and Community Manager to round out our small marketing team. You’ll be developing and executing campaign strategies for our debut title. The ideal person for this role will have a love of building and managing campaigns that tell a story, engage an audience, and help grow our first community. This person will be able to see the big picture, but they don’t mind getting into the nitty gritty when it comes to tactics.
 
Job Specifics
• Tell the story of our game through engaging marketing campaign beats that resonate with our intended audience
• Drive wishlist numbers and grow our community through unique beats that support the goals of our studio and our game
• Lead paid media campaigns, including planning, targeting, execution, and performance analysis
• Track performance of campaign against target metrics and share actionable insights
• Work with our marketing team to develop and execute the GTM campaign, positioning and key messaging
• Apply strategic thinking and positioning to the creation of assets and marketing tactics in each phase of the campaign and post launch
• Track the creation of marketing assets including trailers, key art, store page copy etc.
• Work with the Producer to coordinate on production and marketing schedule to ensure on-time delivery of key beats and assets
• Brief and manage marketing suppliers such as PR agency, trailer editors etc.
• Create assets for social platforms, ranging from game capture for trailers to memes for social media. Assist with other social media items as needed
• Write clear, conversational copy for landing pages, website, emails, app stores, etc.

Requirements
• Experience in marketing, brand management, or publishing within the games industry, preferably on an indie title.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute marketing tactics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including working with developers, PR agencies, and internal teams.
• A creative mindset, with a track record of developing innovative marketing ideas.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, flexible environment with shifting priorities.
• Experience launching indie games on platforms including Steam and PlayStation
• Some graphic design skills: Photoshop, Canva, etc.
• Ability to do basic video editing, gif creation, etc.
• Excellent project management skills.

• Able to read and write in Arabic

Details
• 7 months full-time contract
• Remote position with a globally distributed team
• Will work most closely with team members in PST and CST.
