As a vital member under the Production Manager, you will play a key role in project execution, optimizing performance, and driving effective project management practices.

As a Project Management Officer (PMO) you will
- Work closely with the Production Manager to align project management strategies with Kokku's overarching business objectives.
- Advocate for project methodologies, standards, and guidelines that enhance project management and production practices.
- Establish and enforce project management standards and procedures throughout Kokku, ensuring consistency and quality in alignment with production processes.
- Implement and manage project management tools to streamline workflows, communication, and reporting. Equip teams with training to maximize effective use of these tools.
- Centralize all project-related data, maintain detailed reports, and provide critical insights into project performance. Develop and maintain data dashboards for internal visibility and informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Manage the project portfolio to ensure alignment with organizational strategy and efficient resource allocation.
- Lead post-project reviews to identify areas for improvement, implement changes, and foster an environment of continuous learning. Develop and administer training programs on project management best practices and methodologies.
- Provide foundation for successful project management and execution, with a focus on strategic alignment, robust governance, effective tool usage, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven Experience: Solid background in project management. Demonstrable success in managing complex, multi-faceted projects to successful completion.
- Organizational Skills: Superior organizational and multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Project Management Methodologies and Practices: Comprehensive understanding and practical experience with project management methodologies and practices such as Agile, Scrum, Lean, Waterfall, and PMBOK. Ideally, the candidate will have relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, or PMI-ACP.
- Project Management Software Proficiency: Proficient in project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) to track project progress, manage tasks, and streamline communication.
- Risk Management: Able to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality results.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluent English language skills.
- Educational background in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Game Development Technology, or similar fields, or equivalent experience.
- 7 years of experience in a similar role.
Would also be nice to have
- Understanding of Game Development Process: Clear understanding of game development processes and best practices.
- Technical Understanding: Familiarity with technical aspects related to game development, such as game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal), asset pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
