HOMER has a newly created opportunity for a Product Manager, Partnerships to join our growing team! This role will be based in our NYC Office, but will work remotely until we return to our space.

HOMER, a BEGiN brand, is the proven early learning program that provides the best educational start possible. We offer personalized, fun, and proven learning products for kids ages 2-8 to help build confidence, mastery, and a love of learning. Reporting into our Director of Product, Partnerships, the Product Manager, Partnerships will be responsible for managing some of HOMER’s largest and exciting partnership products from initial requirements refinement through development and launch. You will bring thoughtfulness, curiosity and analysis to guide the product direction by leveraging the synergies between HOMER and its strategic partners with major international children’s brands. You will serve as an advocate for the user, child and parent, with a relentless focus on delivering an engaging and educational product experience.

You will:
  • Manage cross-functional development across multiple platforms and strategic partners while meeting project milestones and timeframes
  • Represent the HOMER brand when collaborating with new / existing partners, while ensuring all communications are productive and well-managed
  • Ensure alignment of product KPIs to both partners’ and HOMER’s high-level goals
  • Prioritize features and communicate decisions using a balance of strategic thought and analytical support
  • Write clear and thorough specifications that are actionable both internally and externally
  • Translate ambiguity into actionable requirements, plans and results
  • Track quantitative and qualitative product performance in order to make recommendations for optimization
  • Manage and prioritize a backlog for the maximum return on investment and highest value delivery
Must Haves:
  • 4+ years of product development/management experience with consumer-facing products
  • Experience in driving cross-functional collaboration 
  • Examples of successful experience working with internal stakeholders across multiple disciplines
  • Experience with agile software processes
  • BA or BS degree
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Working familiarity with data visualization tools (Looker, Braze)
  • Experience in the children/educational industry
  • Experience in leading user testing and research efforts
  • Proven ability to influence decision-making at all levels within an organization
