Good Gamer Group (GGG) is recruiting freelance developers to join our Game Developer Research Panel. This is a freelance, project-based opportunity, not a part-time or full-time job. Panel members participate as freelancers or independent contractors, not employees.

About the Opportunity
Panel members provide feedback that helps improve game development tools and experiences. Studies are conducted virtually and offer compensation based on the type and length of participation. New studies are added every week through the end of 2025, and each study requires different skill sets.
Study Types & Compensation (examples and all virtual)
  • Surveys: ~$1 per minute
  • Focus Groups: ~$100 per hour
  • Game Design Sessions: ~$100 per hour
  • Multi-Day Design Sessions: ~$200–$400 per day
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome US-based applicants over the age of 18 with experience in:
  • Game Design
  • Programming
  • 2D/3D Art
  • UI/UX Design
  • Animation & Motion Graphics
  • QA
  • Sound & Music
  • Full Stack / End-to-End Development
Familiarity with Unit or Unreal Engine is required.

  • Location: Remote (Most countries accepted)
  • Eligibility: Must be 18+
  • Commitment: Freelance, optional participation per study
  • Contract Type: Independent contractor (not employment)
  • Tax & Legal: Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and compliance; Interpret LLC will issue IRS Form 1099‑NEC for payments exceeding $600 per year, per IRS guidelines
