Programme Administrator
3-4 days a week, remote in the East of England, £20 per hour
To start week commencing 13 May 2024
Game Anglia are looking for a Programme Administrator to help us with our work in the East of England, working closely with our Programme Manager and our community of beneficiaries online and through events. The role is project-based at the beginning, with potential to grow into a permanent 3-4 days a week role, dependent on funding. There is potential to expand the role further over time.

We would like you to:
Be self-motivated, highly driven and have experience building towards a vision
Manage the administration of projects funded by public sources such as the local government and private partners. Ensure compliance with funding requirements and maintain meticulous project documentation.
Oversee and engage our online communities, primarily on Discord, ensuring active participation, respectful interaction, and resource sharing among members.
Serve as a primary point of contact for participants, particularly focusing on the 16-30 in the East of England. Employ effective communication strategies that resonate with young audiences.
Help deliver the funded projects together with a team of delivery partners, games industry experts and regional volunteers
Plan, organize, and attend in-person events and workshops, ensuring they meet the objectives of our programmes and provide enriching experiences for attendees
Work with the Board of Advisors and Directors to deliver funded projects
Champion Game Anglia’s work to grow the East of England’s game development industry
Work with our Programme Manager and Directors to create and implement action plans
Must have:
Based in the East of England (Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire) and be able to travel around the East of England and as far as London
Good communication skills
At least one of
Experience administering projects which require a good level of diligence and record-keeping
Experience managing online communities, especially via platforms such as Discord
Experience taking part in / organising in-person events for communities similar to Game Anglia’s
We are ideally looking for someone with:
Good time management
Experience within or adjacent to education or business support
Experience within or adjacent to screen or creative sectors, ideally within games
Experience of copy-writing, as you will be working with our Social Media Manager

£20 per hour, up to 24 hours per week
The role has potential to be expanded depending on funding secured, to encompass up to 8 more hours per week and additional responsibilities.
Who we are:
Game Anglia is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company that grows the games industry in the East of England region of the UK. Our programmes help the young people and independent game developers in the region get the connections, skills and experience needed to succeed in the UK-wide and international game development industry.
In the past we have delivered projects together with The Princes Trust, ScreenSkills, the European Social Fund, The European Regional Development Fund as well as regional authorities such as the Norfolk County Council, Suffolk County Council, SIGNALS and more!
