Fein Games is hiring a 2D Generalist Game Artist, to help us with the development of our game Finding Hannah - A Hidden Object Game.
About us
Fein Games was founded in 2020. We are on a mission to develop casual games with a female perspective. Our games tell local stories with authentic, female characters. Our first game Finding Hannah is set in modern times Berlin. It tells the story of three women and their struggles to find happiness and self-determination.
What you will be doing:
- Concept and deliver final quality assets matching the game’s general art style
- Work closely with game design to concept and create compelling, well-balanced hidden object scenes
- Take inspiration from culture and history, when creating assets to support the games’ setting and story
- Collaborate with our artists, game and audio designers, writers, and developers to create an engaging experience for a female audience
Your profile:
- You are a 2D generalist game artist with three to five years of professional experience
- You have experience working on casual (mobile) games
- You can learn and adapt to new styles with ease
- You are tech-savvy, work independently, and are self-structured
- You are hard-working, humble, and kind
- You are based in Germany
What we offer:
- A flexible, family-friendly work environment. We work 32 hours across 5 days, to give every employee enough time to spend with their families, friends, or on a hobby.
- A salary based on experience, rather than discipline. The salary range for this role is €40.000 to €45.000 gross.
- 24 days paid leave, plus 2 weeks paid annual studio closure at the end of the year.
- For the time being, Fein Games is a fully-remote company. Once it is safer again, we hope to adopt a hybrid setup with office space in Berlin.
