The Opportunity
At Epic Story Interactive, we are seeking a Development Manager to spearhead our mission of delivering exceptional gaming experiences to players worldwide. As the guiding force behind our development team, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our creative visions to life, ensuring quality, innovation, and timeliness in every project. You'll be responsible for the budget, timeline, and scope of our new mobile game, TitanCrash!
We are seeking a dynamic candidate for the role of Development Manager, someone with an unwavering work ethic and the ability to guide a team to success. You thrive on removing obstacles for your team, fostering strong relationships, and applying creative solutions to complex problems. As the key liaison between the different departments, your day-to-day involves effective communication with the development team, devising innovative strategies to enhance our games, and setting clear, achievable goals for our internal development teams. Proficient in the use of Agile processes, you'll bring a structured and collaborative approach to development projects, ensuring efficiency and adaptability in our ever-evolving industry. The Role
- $75,000 - $90,000 per year.

- Responsibilities and duties:
Applying Agile and Lean Development Principles within the Development Team
Time Management and Prioritization by identifying challenges and creating and communicating plans of action to keep projects on task.
Communication Facilitation with leads, stakeholders, and team members.
Scope, Timeline, and Budget
The Candidate
- Individuals with the following traits, skills and experiences should apply:
- 5+ years of production experience on video game products.
- Managed at least one video game title from concept to ship.
- Experience with Agile project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adept with project management tools. We use Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft suite.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet changing priorities and multi-task while meeting strict deadlines.
- Proactive risk management and tracking skills with a keen eye for when escalation is needed.
