About Endless OS Foundation
We are building an innovative collaborative game-making community where learners join with professional developers and mentors to learn 21st-century skills and build workplace portfolios. Our mission is to connect student developers with industry professionals to create meaningful games while providing valuable real-world experience and mentorship.

The Role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial and hands-on Game Producer to lead our game development initiatives while working closely with our internal platform, learning, and community teams and external independent studios. This role is suited to someone who has worn multiple hats in a small business, startup, or independent studio, bringing experience across strategy, legal, operations, and finance—but who is also happy to roll up their sleeves and directly contribute to projects.
While you’ll be our in-house game production expert, this is not a corporate executive role—you’ll be working in a lean, fast-moving, and experimental environment, collaborating directly with internal teams and external partners, including student developers, contractors, and game studios in the Global South.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end production of our games, from strategic planning to hands-on execution.
  • Guide the creative and technical direction of our game projects, directly managing our Game team and contracting external talent and studios as needed, balancing budgets and operational constraints.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (growth, platform, learning, community) to align efforts toward our broader mission.
  • Act as an internal expert on game development best practices, while remaining pragmatic and resource-conscious.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external game studios, independent developers, and educational institutions.
  • Foster a vibrant modder/creator community around our games, ensuring our platform delivers meaningful and authentic learning experiences.
  • Oversee the business and legal aspects of game production, including contracts, licensing, and publishing strategy.
  • Create a culture of experimentation, ensuring rapid iteration and a bias toward action.
  • Mentor junior, intern, and student developers, shaping their real-world learning experience.
  • Represent our organization at industry events and with potential partners.

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Proven entrepreneurial or small-business/studio leadership experience—you've built or led projects where you handled strategy, operations, finance, and execution.
  • Track record of shipping games with small or mid-sized teams, particularly in fast-moving or resource-limited environments.
  • Ability to achieve results with lean teams and limited resources—a “make it work” mindset is key.
  • Hands-on experience with contracting, external partnerships, and business/legal considerations in game development.
  • Strong leadership with a collaborative approach—able to both set vision and get in the trenches with the team.
  • Experience working with modding/creator communities and live-service or community-driven games.
  • Ability to manage remote teams across multiple time zones.
  • Bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish preferred).
  • Passion for using games as platforms for learning and skill-building.
  • Confidence with digital tools including Google Docs, project management tools and ideally familiarity with open source game tools such as Godot, Blender, Aseprite, etc.

What We Offer
  • The chance to build something innovative and mission-driven at the intersection of games, education, and community.
  • A leadership role with hands-on execution, where your decisions have a direct impact.
  • A fully remote, flexible work environment with passionate collaborators.
  • A culture of experimentation and rapid iteration—we move fast and learn as we go.
  • Comprehensive healthcare plan and 401(k) for US staff, generous PTO policy.
We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds who share our passion for games and education.
